We are looking for a resourceful and hands-on Welding Technician (W/M) in charge of supporting our Machining & Welding team on all types of needs according to the priorities established by the management of the team.

As a member of the EAS – Engineering as a Service - Department, your role is to provide support for machining operations in the workshop. The EAS team collaborates with RF’s different R&D teams providing highly skilled engineering services for the successful completion of the RF Project.

Responsibilities

Welding & Pipe Fitting

• Operate MIG and TIG welding machines

• Maintain equipment with the M&W or in accordance with its recommendation

• Participate in the development and optimization of in-house welding

• Able to do simple piping assembly with fittings or welds

Assembly and Miscellaneous Tasks

• Mechanical structure assembly

• Participate in debugging and assembling R&D machines

• Maintain equipment with the suppliers or in accordance with their recommendations

Education and professional experience

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent diploma in manufacturing

• Hands-on experience in a development and/or production environment, preferably in industries such as ceramics & metals coatings, micro-electronics, opto-electronics, automotive or aerospace industries.

Languages

• Fluent in French (B2/C1)

• Knowledge (B1 or higher) of English is a plus 

Technical skills

• Knowledge of manufacturing and welding processes

• Knowledge of quality standards

• Knowledge of CAD software is a plus

• Knowledge of 3D printing is a plus
