Talent growth, continuous learning, engagement & retention officer
We are looking for an energetic and passionate Talent growth, continuous learning, engagement & retention officer to lead and implement innovative initiatives that foster employee development, strengthen engagement, creating the conditions for long-term employee satisfaction.
This role bridges individual career goals and organizational skill needs, ensuring that talent development supports both employee growth and the company’s evolving priorities.
You will work closely with managers, HR, and the Chief of Staff to cultivate an environment where people feel empowered, valued, and committed to their journey within the company. While the Chief of Staff acts as a close, trusted partner to employees and leadership — focused on emotional support, team dynamics, and day-to-day culture — your role will be complementary, with a stronger focus on skills, learning, and structured development. Together, you’ll help drive engagement, performance, and long-term employee success.
Your main responsibilities
- Strategic Skills Management
- Collaborate with leadership and the Head of People & Culture to anticipate the company’s evolving skill requirements
- Map key competencies at organizational level and identify future gaps
- Adapt development programs accordingly to ensure workforce readiness
- Talent Development & Internal Mobility
- Work closely with teams to anticipate personnel development wishes and opportunities, ensuring alignment between employee development and strategic skill needs
- Design individual development plans in collaboration with managers and employees
- Promote internal mobility and co-lead people reviews with HR and team leaders
- Continuous Learning & Upskilling
- Develop and promote targeted training programs (internal, external, online)
- Encourage a culture that values continuous learning and knowledge-sharing across teams
- Organize events, workshops, and interactive sessions to promote peer-to-peer learning
- Stay up-to-date with best practices and integrate innovative learning tools and trends
- Engagement & Retention
- Work in close coordination with the leadership, Chief of Staff and the Head of People & Culture to detect early signs of disengagement and develop appropriate action plans
- Contribute to engagement surveys, analyze trends, and implement retention-focused actions
- Monitor retention metrics and recommend improvements
- Embodying Renaissance Fusion’s values
- In close collaboration with the HR team, contribute to strengthening employees’ alignment with the company’s values by designing and supporting training and awareness initiatives.

* Education and professional experience:
- Master’s degree in HR management, psychology, education science, pedagogy or related field
- + 5 years experience in talent development
- A first experience in a R&D environment
- A scientific background or a strong scientific curiosity is an asset
* Language requirement:
- Fluent in English (C1)
- Fluent in French (C1)
* Technical skills:
- Mastery of skills management
- Mastery of training plan management
- Coaching methods is a plus
