Group Leader of Building Facilities
The Group Leader of Building Facilities is responsible for the maintenance and continuous upgrade of our offices and other areas, excluding the laboratories, which will be the responsibility of another colleague (Group Leader of Industrial Facilities).
The two and their respective teams will work closely with one another, as well as with external contractors, all whilst complying with safety requirements, regulations on office ergonomics, the building, the “Code du travail”, and other legal obligations in France.

Responsibilities
Internal Alignment
- In collaboration with the COO, develop and implement strategies to guarantee a safe and enjoyable workplace to all “Renfusioneers”.
- Alert internal stakeholders in case of delays or major difficulties and work together to find solutions.
- Implement and monitor service level agreements to maintain high standards of service delivery.
Leading internal staff
- Lead a small team, initially comprising one maintenance and installation specialist and one cleaner.
- Direct the maintenance and installation specialist in maintenance, repair, installation and improvement works of small-to-medium size that can be handled internally. Personally engage/help in said small-to-medium works or seek help from other colleagues within the company, with their managers’ approval.
Relations with and management of external contractors
- Identify needs, discuss with potential providers, request quotes, select providers, and -in collaboration with buyers- negotiate contracts relevant to all areas except laboratories.
- Be the first point of contact for all subcontractors operating on Renaissance Fusion’s office premises.
- Oversee maintenance, repair, improvement and cleaning works by external contractors to guarantee that they are terminated on-time, on-budget, on-specs and with minimal disruption to the company operations and to colleagues’ work.
- In collaboration with EHS engineers, ensure that all on-site works by external service-providers complies with safety regulations (prevention plan, work “confined areas”), management of co-activity, and consideration of potential nuisances.
Team management
- Be the ambassador of Renaissance Fusion's vision within your team, and promote its culture, values (speed, simplicity, fantastic realism, constructive interference and unified force) and policies.
- Encourage collaboration at all levels of the organization
- Ensure that your team is motivated to achieve its objectives: set targets and follow them up with encouragement, support, feedback and responsibility
- Ensure that employees are in the best position to achieve their objectives: listen to them, look after their well-being, make sure they have the appropriate tools and skills; fill the gap if necessary (recruitment, training, reorganization…)
- Take an active role in talent development: identify potential, determine areas and opportunities for development, encourage reflection on professional projects, propose training courses

Education and professional experience
- BSc degree, preferably in engineering or related field
- 10+ years of experience in Facilities management
- 3+ years of experience in leading or managing people
- Previous experience in a fast-growing environment is a plus
Languages
- Fluent in French (C1/C2)
- Good level of English (at least B2)
Technical skills
- Management of service providers
- Strong knowledge on facility management and maintenance
- Project management skills
- Familiar with HSE regulations
- Knowledge of Grenoble-based service suppliers
