Group Leader Talent Acquisition
We are looking for an efficient and proactive talent acquisition group leader to meet our ambitious hiring goals, especially in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM), contribute to a positive image of Renaissance Fusion, develop our talent pool, streamline the internal recruitment process, guarantee the best experience to external candidates, and lead the Talent Acquisition team by example fostering continuous growth.
Responsibilities
Hiring needs and project management
- Define the hiring needs and priorities in collaboration with Executives and Heads of departments, including the Head of People and Culture
- Delegate responsibilities (such as Job description writing, posting, “head hunting”, shortlisting of candidates, etc.) among your team members for the different roles to be filled
- Follow up on progress with your team in weekly meetings and remove roadblocks when necessary
Job posting and head-hunting
- For new positions to be opened, bring support to the hiring manager by writing the job description and converting it into an attractive advertisement
- Consult with the hiring managers to fully understand expectations and selection criteria and prepare relevant and discerning interview questions
- Challenge criteria based on the reality of the job market, if necessary
- Post Renaissance Fusion’s job openings on relevant platforms
- Source potential candidates through online channels such as social platforms and professional networks
- Present the company at its best to each candidate and potential partner
Selection process
- Screen and select suitable candidates based on the requirements for each position, possibly with assistance from dedicated software, either commercial or developed in-house
- When appropriate, design and deploy questionnaires and on-line tests
- Present shortlists to hiring managers
- Maintain continuous contact with current candidates
- Initiate the internal interviews, assist in scheduling the technical interviews
- Follow up with the hiring manager to ensure that the process runs smoothly
- Extend offers to finalist candidates and negotiate salary and relocation packages
- Issue employment contracts
Team management
- Be the ambassador of Renaissance Fusion's vision within your team, and promote its culture, values (speed, simplicity, fantastic realism, constructive interference and unified force) and policies.
- Encourage collaboration at all levels of the organization.
- Ensure that your team is motivated and able to achieve its objectives.
- Take an active role in your team’s learning and development
- Comply with and enforce the highest Health, Environment and Safety standards within your team.
“Stand-by”, “always on the look” activities
- Proactively engage with passive candidates, be a company ambassador and develop talent pools, pipelines and networks ahead of requirements. Foster long-term relationships with past applicants and potential candidates
- Select job fairs and recruitment events and ensure optimal organization
- Support social media branding as it relates to recruiting and contribute to the good reputation of RF on social networks
- Contribute to community building strategies and implementation
- Suggest and develop quality relationships with schools, universities and research institutes of interest
- Support internal and external communication aligned with our culture and values
- Be proactive in identifying process improvements and make sound recommendations for their implementation

Education and professional experience
Master’s or bachelor’s degree + equivalent experience in HR management or related field
- 5+ years of experience in Talent acquisition in highly technical/scientific environments
- At least 2 years of experience in managing, training, and mentoring a small team, ideally in a fast-paced environment
Languages
- Fluent (C1) in English and French, other languages are a plus
Technical skills
- Mastery of headhunting skills
- ATS handling experience
- Knowledge of the job market and trends
- Mastery of social networks & job boards
Other
- Willingness to travel to job fairs
- A high level of technical curiosity / fast learner
- Appetite for research (of talents)
- Resourcefulness and creativity
